Overview:The Business Development Executive will drive outbound partner development that leads to new customer acquisition within the small to medium business market segment. The Business Development Executive will be responsible for closing business from a target list of potential partners and create a pipeline of opportunities that ultimately contributes to the overall sales goals for dispatch services.Sales and solutions activities may include, but not be limited to: cold calling a partner/target list, setting up solutions to market, developing forecast for channel, providing feedback on rate cards, seminars or other innovative venues that build local brand, and setting channel process and foster new leads. The Business Development Execcutive will work closely with their assigned Tech-Zone locations to ensure that each location meets or exceeds their revenue goals. Strong excel, pricing, forecasting skills. SFDC experience a plus but not required Ability to consistently set new appointments, qualify, and manage an entire sales cycle Planning and organizational skills Experience in delivering a variety of outbound sales and marketing activities Embraces creativity and innovative sales strategies Essential Functions:New business demand generation: Sets 1-3 new appointments per week for channel Plans and executes 2-4 sales events and/or phone campaigns per month Follow up with channel partners in play Holds at least one business partner meeting per week to promote joint sales and marketingQualified channel pursuits: Leads and attends minimum of 5 prospective partner customer meetings per week Drives the partner sales cycle from lead generation to closure Uses standard rate cards as needed and apply to partner needs.
