Generate revenue from company products and services to meet or exceed individual and department goals.
Sell and service assigned accounts while developing new business opportunities.
Prospect for new business through outbound calls, email, social media, referrals, and other sales activities.
Generate revenue through print advertising, digital advertising, preprints, special sections, promotions, and other company products.
Assist outside Account Executives and other team members in servicing customers.
Prepare customer proposals, presentations, and advertising recommendations.
Review and approve customer proofs while ensuring compliance with established deadlines.
Maintain accurate customer account information and activity records within company systems.
Complete required CRM entries and sales activity reporting.
Ensure advertising is published in accordance with company policies, contracts, rates, and applicable regulations.
Follow established credit and collection policies.
Assist with the development and coordination of special sections, promotions, and other revenue-generating initiatives.
Serve as the primary receptionist for the GILSN and WP&MS offices, including answering and directing calls, greeting visitors, distributing mail and deliveries, and providing general administrative support.
Maintain a high level of internal and external customer service.
Participate in the Great Game of Business and support company initiatives.
Adhere to all company safety standards, including general workplace safety, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Perform all other duties as assigned.

QualificationsQualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Two years of business, sales, customer service, or related experience preferred.
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities.
Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other business software applications.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license and adhere to company driving eligibility requirements, including proof of auto insurance.
Demonstrated alignment with company core values and ESOP culture.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and working at a computer.
Frequent use of standard office equipment, including computers, telephones, printers, and copiers.
Ability to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, and electronically.
Ability to occasionally move, lift, or carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
Occasional travel between company locations as needed.
