Responsibilities Account Stewardship: Work with Account Director and all Agency departments to ensure goals for McDonald's Clients are met Ensure that all work is reviewed before it goes to McDonald's Client and is always on schedule Ensure compliance with Agency/McD's scope of work guidelines Monitor clients business on a daily/weekly basis Client Relations: Maintain contact with McDonald's... Client for development of advertising programs Assure McDonald's Client understands Agency procedures/systems, and obtain clear direction before taking action Schedule regular meetings to ensure expectations are set and met Creative: Assist Account Director in developing and presenting annual/quarterly creative strategies, and conduct strategic review/input sessions, as appropriate Work hand-in-hand with creative team in exploring new creative concepts for McDonald's. Attend shoots, when necessary Review any research results with McDonald's Client and present results as appropriate Media: Ensure that media functions (planning & buying) deliver desired results for McDonald's Client Assist in annual planning process and work with Media team in overseeing development of strategic direction, guidelines and budget parameters for plan Provide accurate direction to planning and buying groups regarding changes in plans Provide input and encourage development of new and added-value media ideas Work with Media team to ensure McDonald's Client is given up-to-date competitive media spending information for its markets Marketing/Advertising: Take active role in future planning and idea generation for McDonald's Client, providing strategic input and formulating innovative solutions to existing marketing and advertising problems Initiate plan development. Develop market opportunity plans Ensure McDonald's Client is provided with the latest market profile analysis and information for their key markets Establish regular competitive reporting review (sales, share, targeted marketing efforts, SOV) Help in developing business-building efforts across the country Assist in development of promotional solutions to market issues Ensure that a written service report covering all McDonald's Client meetings (and pertinent phone calls) is distributed to appropriate Agency and Client personnel Requirements Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or relevant, equivalent experience Minimum 5 years as a Sr. Account Executive or Account Supervisor in a full service agency Experience with QSR, Fast-Food or related experience highly preferred Experience with integrated media strategies and planning Keen attention to detail and strong communication skills A strong sense of urgency and commitment to get the job done quickly and with high quality Ability to manage multiple tasks while working independently Proficiency in MS Office, Keynote, with the ability to learn new software & operating systems Positive outlook and good interpersonal skills Proven leadership abilities and managerial experience A DO IT NOW mentality.
