Ad Sales and Grant Writing Intern

We are seeking an Ad Sales And Grant Writing Intern to join our fantastic children’s theater non profit! This opportunity is open to seniors in college or anyone recently graduated looking to further their non profit skills/knowledge. You will work with businesses to build program sponsors and assist in writing grants in order to drive company revenue. Responsibilities: • Present and sell company playbills and services to new and existing customers • Prospect and contact potential businesses • Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline • Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments • Find and write grants catering to children and the Arts • Communicate regularly with team ​Qualifications: • Previous school experience in sales, customer service, non profits or other related fields • Grant writing ability • Ability to build rapport with clients • Strong negotiation skills • Deadline and detail-oriented
