Ad Sales Executive

• The Senior Account Executive is responsible for the selling of advertising to credible advertisers and achieving agreed upon productivity levels and revenue goals. • The Senior Account Executive reports to the Director, Media Sales and Creative Services • There are not direct reports to this position. • Interfaces with the following positions within the organization: Sales Management, Creative Services, Video Production, Traffic, Research and Promotions, and Accounting. Education and Experience • High school diploma or the equivalent- required • Minimum 5 years previous related sales experience- required • Bachelor degree in Business administration, radio/TV, liberal arts or equivalent degree- preferred • Working knowledge of media and advertising industry – preferred • Experience using personal computers and software applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel – required • Prior experience using contact management applications (such as SalesForce or other CRM) – strongly preferred Core Competencies • Agile – Embraces change; adaptable and flexible; sense of urgency; • Innovative – Uses critical thinking; Creativity; Continuous learning; Challenges the status quo; • Customer Focused – External/Internal; Creates the exceptional customer experience; demonstrates a sales and service mentality; • Collaborative – Teamwork, Proactive knowledge sharing, Constructive Conflict; • Accountable – Be accountable; hold team accountable for goal achievement; Hold peer group accountable as necessary
