The Santa Fe New Mexican, your daily newspaper, has an opportunity in our Advertising Department for a Sales Assistant. With training, the Sales Assistant will have strong understanding of all advertising products, deadlines, ad specifications so they may respond to current and potential client questions. Sales Assistant may assist in scheduling or rescheduling appointments for reps and outreach to dormant accounts to set appointments with sales reps. The Advertising Sales Assistant will become proficient in our Stratica database and assist with both client and rep questions including advertising history for a client, payment information, balance owed/due, client questions on. Occasional runs to client locations to pick up checks, drop of copies of magazines, to deliver proofs, take tearsheets, pick up products etc.
