Administrative Assistant - Construction

Jetton Construction is an award-winning Bay Area construction firm in Berkeley providing sustainable building practices, excellent craftsmanship, and caring service to a diverse client base. We are seeking skilled applicants for the position of Administrative Assistant. This is a full-time position, with office hours of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday. Qualifications: -Experience in residential construction industry preferred, but not required -Excellent communication and organizational skills -Comfortable with multitasking and ability to be flexible with shifting work demands -Experience with database management, data entry, and computer networks -Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat -Some knowledge of Sage 100 Contractor preferred, but not required -Accuracy and attention to detail -Positive, proactive and a problem solver Primary Responsibilities: -Obtain and file insurance certificates from subcontractors -Distribute and track safety meetings and job site safety posting requirements -Prepare, collect and track lien releases -Assist Project Supervisors and Managers with project mobilization, safety supply orders, and project close-out documents -Work with IT consultant to resolve computer network and hardware problems -Maintain Outlook calendar/contact database, local server files and Dropbox shared files -Facilitate marketing, design advertising and update website and social media -Plan and organize company events -General office responsibilities, including but not limited to: answering phones, ordering office supplies, making copies, filing, buying lunch for meetings, helping to maintain the office, sorting mail, making bank deposits and running other errands.
