Administrative/Marketing Assistant

Confidential New Orleans, Louisiana

We are a local landscape architecture firm looking for the right candidate with experience in social media marketing and excellent customer service to join our team. To be successful in this role, you must be a highly organized multi-tasker who can work collaboratively and carry out projects independently. This role is split between administrative/office duties (70%) and marketing duties (30%.) Gardening experience and/or plant knowledge is a big plus! Administrative Responsibilities – 70% of the position: • Prepare client proposals and contracts • Assist with daily correspondence, answering phones, emails, and managing client relationships • File documents and mail monthly invoices • Order supplies and coordinate with vendors • Communicate to maintenance and installation crew members • Manage maintenance reports and spreadsheets • Data entry • Customer service • Plant material research and ordering • Critical thinking and problem solving Marketing Responsibilities – 30% of the position: • Manage the firm’s online presence including website (Wix hosted), Houzz profile, and social media (Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook) • Create and regularly post content that is engaging and aligned with the firm’s vision and values • Develop and implement paid and organic social media campaigns to drive brand awareness and new sales • Monitor and optimize paid search ads • Design and manage print advertising Key Skills: • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook • Social Media management • GoogleAds (certification is a plus!)
