Advertising Account Administrator

Within the spirit of “Making People’s Dreams Come True”, this position is responsible for selling advertising schedules based on advertiser marketing needs within The Villages Daily Sun newspaper. Cultivating new and existing advertising clients through in person calls at customer's place of business. Achieving budgeted revenue goals by developing all new/incremental business possible in assigned territory, for maintaining an awareness of local competitive conditions and improving market share. Deliver tear sheets, co-op statements, and invoices to customer.Collect payment of past due advertising accounts; contacts advertisers that have not paid for advertising and confirm when payment will be received.Write out insertion orders and other paperwork; process sales progress reports as required by management.Attend retail advertising sales meetings as well as performing other various duties as needed.In person relationship building with clients is essential to this position and is expected that the employee will use their vehicle to drive to each client's place of business on a regular basis to maintain appropriate levels of customer service for their client.All other duties as assigned.Education & Experience Requirements :Associate's degree (A. A.)
