Advertising Account Executive

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual for an advertising account executive role. This is an in-person, outside sales position in Chattanooga. We are a locally owned and operated company with deep roots in the communities we serve.

This position offers a competitive base salary of $30,000 + 10% sales commissions upon completion of training, with great potential to earn more than $65,000 annually. Benefits include particle insurance premium coverage and paid life insurance.

Candidate will be responsible for:

· Identifying and researching potential clients and anticipating their advertising needs.

· Collaborating with the sales & marketing team to brainstorm effective advertising campaign ideas, and presenting these proposals to the clients successfully.

· Communicating pricing and terms to clients, negotiating sales and renewals, and preparing advertising proposals and contracts.

· Participating in regular meetings with the Sales Manager to discuss current and upcoming sales opportunities.

· Establishing and maintaining contact with key prospects and accounts through in-person meetings, written correspondence, and phone calls.

· Maintaining professionalism at all times, particularly when interacting with customers or colleagues in person, over the phone, or via email.

· Upholding the company's customer service and sales standards.

· Staying engaged with the wider media advertising community within the market.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Education: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or other related field.

· Experience: 1 – 2 years of relevant experience in outdoor advertising, marketing, or digital advertising is preferred but not required.

· Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver’s license

· Other: Requires reliable personal transportation

Skills Required:

· Must demonstrate confidence in managing multiple marketing campaigns and accounts concurrently.

· Keen comprehension of client requirements and working effectively within their budget constraints.

· Exhibits strong written and oral communication skills.

· Error-free writing proficiency and the ability to confidently pitch strategic ideas.

· Must possess excellent communication skills to inspire clients, impart product and process knowledge, achieve results, foster positive relationships, and manage expectations in line with business limitations.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

· Ability to lift less than 25 pounds, seeing: reading, color distinction, acuity, depth perception, sit greater than 50% of the time, walk greater than 50% of the time (including climbing stairs), use the computer greater than 50% of the time, and talking.

· Daily local travel by automobile is required in the Chattanooga area.
