In this role, you will manage the full digital advertising sales cycle: prospecting, leading presentations, creating proposals, closing business opportunities, and delivering post-sales campaign results. The ideal candidate will leverage our suite of digital advertising solutions to help clients achieve their business objectives while driving both new business and renewals for The Standard.We are looking for an advertising sales professional with 3-5 years of experience who can build strong client relationships and consistently exceed revenue targets. This role does not require past publishing experience, as we're looking to innovate the traditional publisher-brand partnership model.Key ResponsibilitiesProspect: Generate new leads for medium and large businesses through cold outreach, networking, and building awareness among media buying agencies. Renew: Renew and extend existing campaigns, recommend new products and promotional opportunities while responding to objections and concerns with a solution-focused approach. Strategy: Scale our customer acquisition approach that capitalizes on industry verticals, seasonal buying patterns, and market trends to target similar-profile businesses, creating momentum within specific sectors and industries.
