Job Description: The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and experienced media sales professional with a proven track record in sales and client management. Key responsibilities include producing revenue across all available platforms, prospecting, contacting and presenting to new businesses, developing new revenue through local business development, forming strategic and market partnerships, managing an active account/client list, conceptualizing, creating and delivering sales proposals that are consistent with station strategies and achieving individual sales goals while contributing to KCCI dynamic sales team. Requirements: • 1+ years in media or digital sales, or similar sales field • Experience with the development of new business/non-traditional business • Have strong negotiation skills • Experience in a consultative customer-focused business atmosphere • Accountability within a goal-structured organization • Must be a team player • Experience selling to business owners • Understand and use qualitative research to further sales effort • Related military experience will be considered
