Advertising Account Managers

As a Senior Account Manager, you are a programmatic expert specializing in DSP display and video, with deep agency experience. You will serve as a strategic and consultative partner to agency leadership across account planning, strategy, investment, and activation teams. Key job responsibilities Become a knowledgeable partner on Amazon Advertising solutions with ability to partner on agency strategy at senior leadership levels Develop media strategies for growth based on overall agency goals/objectives Coordinate across internal Amazon teams to streamline agency servicing and ensure efficient resolution of agency-wide blockers Educate agencies on Amazon's ad tech offerings, performance metrics, insights, and how to achieve greater results on Amazon, Create and identify new insights based on first-party and third-party research Co-own agency revenue targets with advertising development managers and achieve these targets Report effectively on agency account health, revenue pipeline, and provide bridge plans to senior management Build and maintain effective partnership with advertising development managers and other account team members Manage complex customer initiatives and relationships with multiple agency contacts and identify new external relationships Define team processes and best practices for agency engagement, sharing them across the team and holding partner teams accountable for improvements Basic Qualifications • 8+ years relevant experience in a client-facing role including but not limited to ad agency, digital marketing, analytics etc. • Experience in programmatic, display, or CTV planning/buying • Adept at solving problems that span business and technology • Influence process improvement that scales broadly; inventing and simplifying within existing processes • Ability to proceed in absence of defined processes and provide input on them • Demonstrated ability to manage agency issues that impact several groups with differing business objectives Preferred Qualifications • 10+ years work experience in Advertising with experience owning media buying/planning across digital advertising, eCommerce, and/or linear broadcast/streaming TV focused roles • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Marketing, Advertising, Statistics, Engineering or Business; MBA is a plus • Excellent organizational, relationship-building, and communication (written and verbal) skills • Programmatic strategy, emerging AI tool adoption, and implementation experience • Proven track record of delivering results (including revenue targets) and significantly contributing to advertiser revenue growth • Experience defining team processes and best practices • Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop others • Experience working across diverse groups and communicating across increasing diversity of locales, roles, and functions • Ability to make smart trade-offs and understand what will have long-lasting impact on agency business Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
