National publishing company of business-to-business annual publications seeks full-time experienced account manager to be responsible for acquiring new business and retaining current clients. The ideal candidate is outgoing, has a minimum of five years sales experience preferably in print advertising and works well in both a team environment and on their own. This position includes a base salary of $35-$40K per year plus 5% commission on renewals and 10% commission on new business ($10,000 approx. total in yearly commissions) Requirements: • 5 years experience in advertising sales (print and digital) • Must have a strong knowledge of the selling process and ability to understand client needs and wants and apply that to our publications • Ability to write and speak clearly and effectively • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word & Outlook). • Ability to travel throughout the year to various trade-shows Please note: Initial training will be done in Deltona, FL (Volusia County).
