Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe’re looking for a highly motivated, wildly creative, and relentlessly organized Director of Social Media to lead the charge across dozens of client accounts. This is not a “schedule some posts and hope for the best” kind of role. This is for the person who lives and breathes social media strategy, thrives under pressure, and knows how to rally a creative team toward results that actually matter.As Director of Social Media, you’ll oversee the development and execution of compelling, ROI-driven social media strategies for clients across a wide range of industries. Must be a highly creative thinker who not only inspires and guides team members but also generates original ideas and compelling content strategies, bringing fresh, brand-relevant concepts backed by strong rationale to both client and internal campaigns.Responsibilities:Lead and develop overarching social media strategies for a diverse client portfolio.Direct and collaborate with internal teams, including graphic designers and content writers, to produce compelling, on-brand content.Oversee content calendars, campaign execution, and platform optimization across all major social platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, etc. ).Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies to ensure ongoing growth and engagement.Stay ahead of social trends, algorithm updates, and emerging platforms.Present strategy and performance updates to clients as needed.Work closely with the Executive Creative Director to align social efforts with broader marketing initiatives.Ensure all social content is timely, creative, brand-aligned, and engaging.Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Qualifications:4–5+ years of proven experience in social media strategy and content direction—preferably within an agency environment.Strong leadership skills with experience managing creative teams (writers, designers, etc.
