The Advertising Coordinator will support the Marketing team to proactively coordinate and streamline production of advertising and media campaigns from the point of conception through campaign execution, with extreme organization and superb communication with internal teams and external partners.Job Responsibilities:Assist Advertising Manager with day-to-day tasks, projects and campaigns related to advertising with strong attention to detail including opening job requests with internal agency, copywriting, proofing and communicating revisions, securing approvals, final dissemination of materials to vendor and facilitating deliverablesAssist Advertising Manager with the development, strategy and production of traditional advertising, brand marketing and related assets including signage, posters, slot toppers, print ads, magazine ads, billboards, radio and other mediaAssist Advertising Manager in the production of job requests from external departments at Ocean including signage... posters, coupons, table tents, decals, logos, menus, etcCollaborate and build rapport with Marketing team members, internal agency, external departments at Ocean and external vendors, partners and media reps to support goals and meet deadlinesReview media proposals and provide recommendations for upcoming events, entertainment and brand campaignsMaintain awareness of market trends, new product offerings and media partners to present new ideas to Advertising teamOversee bi-weekly presentations and provide recaps and/or generate reports for intended audiences when neededAssist Advertising Manager with processing invoices and input purchase requisitions and purchase orders in an accurate and timely fashionAssist the Marketing Team as needed with photoshoots, live broadcasts, off-property events and/or volunteer opportunities; may require a flexible work schedulePerform other functions as assigned by the Executive Director of Marketing and Director of AdvertisingEssential FunctionsExposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to second hand smoke, excessive noise and hectic environments.Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.Must be able to stand for an entire shift and be able to move throughout the hotel areaRequirementsBachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; minimum 1-2 years recent and relevant experience in advertising and marketing; or equivalent combination of education and experienceStrong organizational and time-management skills to coordinate a high volume of requests, effectively multi-task and prioritize tasksAbility to think creatively in the development of ideas/solutions that will contribute value in a dynamic multifaceted marketing environmentThrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environmentValues positivity and collaborationExcellent verbal and written communication skillsBenefitsFree meal on shiftTraining & DevelopmentHealth Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)Retirement Plan (401k,)Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D)Paid Time OffFree Parking
