As theMedia Planner you will be responsible for managing some of AdFarm client's Traditional and Digital Ag media offering within the strategic direction of AdFarm. You'll have success here if you value clear processes and feel qualified to do the following things: • Research and implement new digital technologies, formats, and best practices relevant to clients' media strategies and objectives • Work closely with Marketing Science, SEO and Content Analysts to ensure all paid media data is captured and measured • Draw insights from digital campaign results and provide recommendations for future campaigns • Meet, greet, foster and develop solid relationships with media partners • Maintain contacts with media partners, ensuring statistics, circulation and viewing figures are up to date • Meet with clients to discuss and present projects, as needed/required and to fully understand their advertising strategy and build up a picture about their target audience • Analyze and research the client's target audience's character, purchasing and media habits • Work with the PR and Content team on media strategies and recommendations • Advise the account team, creative team about the most effective media combination • Negotiate competitive deals with media partners by obtaining the best advertising rates that fit with the agreed media strategy. In this role, you'll need to come to the table with the following skills and qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Media or related field • 3+ years' experience with media planning/buying • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel • Google AdWords certification not required, but a plus • Working knowledge of both traditional and digital media • Ability and desire to work individually on strategic and analytical projects • Ability to actively listen and work with all personality types • Self-motivated, while remaining a team playerand a critical thinker • Outstanding communicator, both written and verbal • A positive attitude and sense of humor in the face of frequent change and stress is essential.
