We want someone who can not only keep up, but help set the pace for our growth.Primary ResponsibilitiesDrive revenue across our offerings (magazine, digital, creative services and event sponsorship) while meeting and exceeding monthly sales goalsManage an active account portfolio while also adding to your book of business by building a pipeline of new prospects.Identify key advertising placement decision-makers and initiate and pursue productive, consultative relationships with local and national accountsMaintain a high-volume of sales calls each week with clients and agencies to develop, present, and close revenueCreate compelling multimedia proposals and sponsorship packagesUse various sales tools, presentations, research, marketing and other resources to help effectively deliver sales messaging to clientsAttend networking, community, and client events and provide a strong representation of the 5280 brandGenerate ideas for new initiatives and new categories of businessWork directly with the Publisher, Advertising Director, and Marketing Director to develop custom programs for existing and new clientsMaintain and grow CRM databaseQualifications and Characteristics3-5 years of media sales experience, with digital media experience preferredStrong aptitude for selling high growth digital products and platformsSelf-motivated individual who is skilled at uncovering new prospectsCompetitive spirit - you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy chasing down leadsExcellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skillsHyper-organized and able to manage a large volume of accountsAble to work well both independently and with a team in a collaborative environmentBenefits :Health insurance (FSA, FSA dependent care, HSA options, Teledoc)Vision and Dental coverageUnlimited PTOHybrid office work environmentPaid parental leavePublic transportation or parking subsidies401KFitness club membership optionSalary : Competitive base with uncapped commissions.
