Advertising Sales Executive
Are you ready to build a career in media and marketing? WDEF-TV, the CBS affiliate in Chattanooga, is looking for a driven and enthusiastic Advertising Sales Executive to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll help local businesses share their stories through powerful advertising solutions — from CBS broadcast television and streaming to digital marketing under the ChartLocal umbrella.
We take a client-first, consultative approach , meaning you’ll work closely with small to mid-sized local businesses to understand their goals and create custom strategies that deliver results. Partner with local business owners to develop and present customized marketing campaigns across TV, WDEF.com, mobile apps, and digital platforms.
Build strong, long-term relationships by understanding client needs and helping them reach their target audiences effectively.
Coordinate commercial production and ensure advertising campaigns run smoothly and accurately.
Collaborate with internal teams on campaign strategy, scheduling, and performance tracking.
Stay informed on local market trends, consumer insights, and emerging advertising tools.
Represent WDEF at community and station-sponsored events to strengthen client and brand connections.
Comfortable meeting with business owners, listening to their needs, and crafting creative solutions.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, etc.) experience with CRM systems is a plus, but we’ll train you!
Hands-on training in both traditional and digital advertising.
