We're looking for a savvy Ad Rate Negotiator + Monetization Strategist who understands: • How to secure discounted ad rates from platforms like Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, OpenAI, and more • How to maximize revenue per placement, especially from non-skippable ads • And how to ensure the ads generate more than they cost If you’ve successfully helped a free app generate net-positive revenue through placements, partnerships, or performance hacks—we need you. Your Mission • Secure lower CPMs and bonus placement rates from top advertising platforms—even when they’re “fully automated” • Strategize where and when to place ads in the Iris app to maximize earnings without disrupting user experience • Work directly with our financial team to ensure the ad-supported free version of Iris pays for itself • Help evaluate in-app upgrade pricing vs ad revenue forecasts to inform long-term growth • Explore high-performing video ad partners for the spiritual, wellness, emotional support, and lifestyle space Ideal Candidate • Has deep experience negotiating with major ad platforms, including direct rep contact or team-level escalation • Understands video ad monetization inside apps, especially non-skippable and reward-based models • Can calculate ROI per ad based on platform, placement, and regional rates • Is comfortable comparing ad revenue vs app costs (server costs, AI costs, upgrade revenue) • Knows when to push harder—and when to pivot to a better ad source Compensation • $25–$50/hour, based on experience and past success • Potential performance-based bonuses if ad response and app monetization exceed targets • Opportunity to grow into a senior monetization or ad partnerships role as we scale globally
