The Tampa Bay Times is seeking a driven Advertising Sales Account Executive to grow advertising revenue through print and digital marketing solutions. This is an in-territory, outside sales role focused on new business development, account growth, and community engagement. This role offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships in Pinellas County while growing your income through performance. Prospect and develop new business through cold calling, appointment setting, and networking Sell integrated print and digital advertising solutions to small and mid-sized businesses Generate leads and build a consistent, active sales pipeline Create customized advertising proposals aligned with client goals Meet or exceed revenue targets within assigned territory Grow and retain a book of business through ongoing account management Represent the Tampa Bay Times and affiliated brands professionally within the community Collaborate across departments to support campaign execution and client success At least 1 year of outside sales experience required At least 1 year of digital advertising sales experience (websites, display, SEM/SEO, social media, email marketing) Ability to prospect confidently and conduct face-to-face sales calls Proven success meeting revenue and growth goals Strong communication and presentation skills Ability to assess client needs and recommend effective solutions Organized with strong pipeline and time management skills Team-oriented with a client-first mindset Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
