Advertising Sales Assistant

The Republican is seeking a full-time Advertising Sales Assistant to handle duties supporting Major and National Accounts, Retail and Classified Advertising teams. We are looking for an individual who is efficient and comfortable interacting with customers and other members of the team. Assuring a steady completion of workload in a timely manner and on deadline is key to success in this position. Responsibilities and Duties: • Manage workflow of incoming print and online advertising orders daily, ensuring that deadlines are met, and work is completed correctly • Generate emails and reports in a timely manner • Respond to questions and requests for advertising information • Answer incoming calls and assume other assigned duties when needed • Evaluate and approve advertising insertion orders and order advertising internally • Sell print and online advertising solutions (inside sales) to existing and potential clients • Collect and assemble all advertising ad materials (artwork) on time and approve for publication • Update customer records in the company database as required
