Advertising Sales & Digital Operations Contractor

Exhibit City News is seeking a 1099 Advertising Sales & Digital Operations Contractor to support advertising sales, account management, sales administration, sales-related social media and digital projects.

This role is for someone organized, sales-minded and comfortable with client communication, follow-up and independent work.

Responsibilities

Prospect, pitch and close advertising sales for Exhibit City News and the ECN Service DirectorySupport assigned advertising accountsAssist with advertiser communication and follow-upSales OperationsManage and update Magazine ManagerSupport advertising sales administration and organizationTrack contracts, deadlines, client communication and deliverablesAssist with sales-related email communicationDigital & Marketing SupportSupport company social media related to advertising and salesProvide content and development support for TradeshowJobBoard.comGeneralMeet agreed deadlines for assigned work

Contractor Status

This is a 1099 independent contractor role, not an employee position.

The contractor is responsible for their own taxes, computer, phone, internet, software, workspace, transportation and business expenses unless specific expenses are approved in writing.

The contractor may use the company office for meetings, collaboration or training, but is not required to work there on a regular schedule.

Compensation
