The role of Sales Director involves formulating and executing strategies to attain revenue objectives while providing leadership and guidance to the sales team (4 to 6 direct reports to start, the sales team has 16 people total). • Collaborate in establishing revenue goals and tactics for the sales team, actively managing their performance to achieve or surpass objectives. • Consistently oversee individual sales team performance to meet or exceed quota. • Track sales performance metrics of the team using CRM, financial reporting software, and data to enhance revenue performance. • 7- 10 years of direct sales experience, must have a background in media sales of some sort (radio, print, TV, out of home advertising, agency experience) • 5+ years of proven history of success in sales team management.
