The Advertising Sales Executive will manage existing accounts, respond to inbound leads and prospect for new ones selling our suite of standard advertising products in The Washington Post print edition, on washingtonpost.com and in other publications and products. What the successful candidate will bring to the table: a disciplined approach to maintaining daily sales activity levels; the ability to prospect and acquire new business; strong presentation skills; and a proven track record in building and sustaining client-based relationships—all to drive incremental sales that will meet and exceed our goals. • A desire to manage the entire sales process (including prospecting, acquiring new business and maintaining relationships). The Washington Post’s policy for employees is five days per week in the office, with exceptions for newsgathering and general business travel. The actual salary within this range will depend on individual skills, experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
