Smithbucklin, a 100 percent employee-owned association management company, is looking for an Advertising Sales Manager to join our Sales Services team in our Chicago or DC Office. • You consistently hit sales targets year over year • You are obsessed with the details of your orders ensuring accuracy and quality • You have a proven sales process that you leverage to efficiently close orders • You know there is more you can do in the right environment, spanning multiple industries that challenges you intellectually and rewards you financially What You Will Do • Responsible for selling all media channels for each association s/he represents to include, but not limited to, print and digital advertising, as well as exhibits and sponsorships • Accountable for the revenue of assigned association(s) • Provide creative input on new opportunities (i.e. possible new advertising sales vehicles), editorial suggestions, promotion/marketing suggestions and other ways to increase revenue • Collaboration with support staff, including account coordinators, who interact with advertisers, exhibitors, sponsors and our client’s team members In addition, as a 100 percent employee-owned company, Smithbucklin offers all of our people – regardless of position or compensation – an equal chance to experience fulfilment and reap the benefits of ownership.
