Position Summary Advertising Account Executive manages and prospects advertising clients for 2 publications, print advertising sales, digital media and SEO. Responsible for bringing in new clients and closing contracts and accountable for weekly and monthly sales goals. Key Responsibilities • Acquire new accounts and negotiates contracts using needs/benefits selling strategy • Effectively prospect using multiple lead sources • Develop and maintain positive business relationships in assigned territory • Manages accounts and acts as contact between client and creative/production team • Presents creative proposal to clients for approval and adheres to production deadlines • Helps in the creative process for ad design and management • Utilizes CRM management system effectively to prospect new clients and serve existing • Computer skills word and excel necessary Professional experience and skills The successful candidate in this role will be able to anticipate obstacles and have a sense of urgency as there are daily deadlines to adhere to in the production process of our 2 publications; The Coast News and The Inland Edition. Position requires determined, committed work ethic, exceptional interpersonal skills and the need to be able to connect with a wide variety of personalities.
