Compensation: 100% Commission (Uncapped) + Immediate Commission from Existing Portfolio
Expected Earning Potential: $32,000+

The Park County Community Journal is a family-owned and operated print and digital media publication. Because our content is provided to the public free-of-charge, the sales representative is the driving force of the organization and any supplemental products it produces. We are currently seeking an ambitious, community-minded strategic sales representative to maintain existing clientele, create new revenue channels, and drive growth. This liaison role requires maintaining strong relationships within the community.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

· Maintain an existing portfolio of regular advertisers, including but not limited to local businesses and non-profit organizations.

· Expand advertising portfolio by identifying and researching potential clientele for contact.

· Determine each clients marketing goals and customize advertising packages accordingly.

· Devise strategic advertising packages to meet market demands and overcome seasonal challenges.

· Utilize distribution and survey data as leverage for promoting sales.

· Complete each transaction by collecting, documenting and submitting payments.

· Collaborate with editorial staff to recommend novel content-related ideas intended to increase sales.

· Facilitate interactions between clientele and graphic design specialist to ensure advertisements contain proper information and imagery.

Qualifications

· Experience: Minimum one year of experience in a customer service or sales role is required.

· Education: A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or journalism is preferred though not required. Experience will be prioritized above education.

· Key Traits: Strong interpersonal, critical thinking and organizational skills are required. Candidates must be self-motivated, highly structured, patient, thoughtful and friendly.

The sales representative may work as many hours as needed to meet revenue goals. The position is primarily remote though regularly scheduled onsite meetings with the publisher are required.

Pay: $30,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
