Advertising sales representative

The Shafter Press and Wasco Tribune are looking for an advertising sales representative to sell advertising in its print publications and web sites (TheShafterPress.com and WascoTrib.com). This is a very flexible position, and will be fitted to meet your requirements -- could be full time, could be part time, could be an employee, could be a freelancer. You'd need to know how to work with small businesses to analyze their needs and see how our products can meet them. This means preparing sales proposals and working the phone, email and face-to-face calls to close deals that create value for our clients. Be a good communicator (bilingual in Spanish is a big plus), knowledgeable of technology (we use Google and Office), able to put together effective ads, good at using your time, and not be afraid of anything!
