Primary Objective: Prospecting, qualifying, selling and customer service for advertising clients. Quickly grasps marketing information — local media environment and the status (both real and perceived) in that environment of publications; circulation, readership, affordable rates and other strengths; reader demographics; competitors’ strengths and weaknesses — and uses it to sell ads. Other duties as required. Excellent organization and time management; solid follow-through on all duties. Computer literacy with specific knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, and ability to master advertising-specific software.
