Compensation: This is a contract position with a draw against commissions. Payment is issued by the middle of each month. Key Responsibilities: Sell advertising space in Jewish News newspapers, magazines, and special publications Generate new business through cold calling, outreach, and site visits Present advertising options to clients (layouts, design elements, sizes, pricing) Build and maintain strong client relationships Identify client needs and tailor advertising solutions accordingly Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations Collaborate with copywriters to communicate client requests and revisions Stay informed on advertising trends, audience demographics, and competitor activity Use metrics and market research to support sales pitches Respond promptly to client inquiries, concerns, and service needs 2–3 years of proven sales experience (preferably in print or media advertising) Experience in service-oriented industries is a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills Confident in cold-calling and client engagement Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
