Cityview Magazine is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Advertising Sales Executive to join our growing team. In this full-time, commission-based role, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, cultivating long-term client relationships, and helping local businesses grow through strategic advertising and marketing solutions. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a sales environment, understands how to communicate value, and is passionate about building lasting partnerships within the community.

Responsibilities:

Identify and develop new advertising opportunities throughout the Knoxville and East Tennessee market.
Build, maintain, and grow relationships with business owners, marketing professionals, and community leaders.
Present customized advertising and marketing solutions designed to help clients achieve their goals.
Manage and take ownership of your book of business through consistent communication and follow-up.
Represent Cityview Magazine professionally at meetings, networking events, and community functions.
Collaborate with internal team members to ensure client expectations are met and campaigns are successful.

Qualifications:

Previous sales experience required; advertising, media, or marketing experience is a plus.
Trainable and willingness to learn
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Highly organized with excellent time management abilities.
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
Quick learner with a proactive and professional attitude.
Reliable transportation required.

Work Environment:

This position requires in-office meetings and team collaboration; however, the majority of time will be spent prospecting, meeting with clients, networking, and making sales calls throughout the community.

Compensation:

Commission-based compensation with earning potential based on experience, performance, and sales success.
