Agency manager

We are a Golden Hill-based communications agency looking for an agency manager who wants an entrepreneurial position to lead an agency start up that provides paid job training to help underrepresented populations get experience in the industry. Industry Influence • Develop relationship with the Public Relations Society of America regional chapter to evaluate and change the nature of its diversity committee • Seek speaking opportunities to talk about diversity in the industry and how to make change • Secure regular opportunities to write about diversity in the industry and lead national conversations • Identify ways to activate the company’s advocacy mission with the national associations for communications, public relations, direct marketing and more Required skills and knowledge: • Experience in public relations and digital marketing • Ability to lead by example and motivate a team • An understanding of social justice issues, particularly as it relates to integration into U.S. workforce • Independent worker capable of managing deadlines and fluctuating workloads • Ability to service a diverse set of clients including advocacy, political, environmental, and business, and including extension-of-staff and public relations clients • Demonstrated commitment to job completion • Comfort with video and telecommuting • Strong client and interpersonal relationships • Writing and editing • Leading, mentoring and developing other team members • Be awesome • Be flexible • Love what you do • Be committed to the end result We are only accepting candidates looking for a long-term commitment to grow within the role.
