The primary responsibility of this position is to manage, optimize, and grow our Amazon advertising campaigns across a large catalog of food and grocery products. This is an in-house, hands-on position. Key ResponsibilitiesCreate, manage, and optimize Amazon Sponsored Products campaigns.Manage Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Brands Video, and Sponsored Display campaigns.Build and maintain automatic, manual, exact-match, phrase-match, broad-match, product-targeting, and defensive campaigns.Review campaign performance daily and adjust bids, budgets, placements, and targeting.Conduct keyword, competitor, category, and product-targeting research.Analyze Amazon search-term reports and convert successful search terms into structured campaigns.Identify and add negative keywords and negative product targets.Improve ROAS while maintaining appropriate sales growth.Monitor ACOS, TACOS, CPC, CTR, conversion rate, impressions, sessions, and attributed sales.Develop different advertising strategies for new products, established products, seasonal products, and underperforming products.Create product-launch advertising plans to improve visibility, sales velocity, and organic ranking.Manage campaign budgets and prevent unnecessary or unprofitable ad spending.Evaluate campaign performance by ASIN, product, brand, keyword, search term, and placement.Build clear weekly and monthly advertising reports for management.Identify products that should be scaled, tested, reduced, restructured, or paused.Coordinate advertising strategy with inventory availability, FBA status, pricing, coupons, promotions, and product profitability.Recommend promotional opportunities, including coupons, deals, Prime-exclusive discounts, and other Amazon marketing programs.Work with the content team to improve listings when advertising performance is limited by weak images, titles, bullet points, pricing, reviews, or conversion rates.Monitor competitors’ advertising activity, pricing, promotions, keywords, and market positioning.Maintain an organized campaign structure and clear naming system across all brands and products.Stay informed about changes to Amazon Ads, Seller Central, reporting, attribution, and advertising policies.Required QualificationsAt least 2–3 years of direct experience managing Amazon PPC campaigns.Demonstrated experience managing a significant Amazon advertising budget.Strong understanding of Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Brands Video, and Sponsored Display.Strong knowledge of ACOS, TACOS, ROAS, CPC, CTR, conversion rate, and other Amazon performance metrics.Experience working with Amazon Seller Central and the Amazon Ads Console.Ability to analyze search-term reports and make data-based campaign decisions.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to manage advertising across a large number of ASINs.Ability to clearly explain campaign performance, problems, and recommended actions.Must be able to work independently while collaborating with an internal team.Must be available to work on-site in Chicago.Preferred QualificationsExperience advertising food, grocery, pantry, or consumer packaged goods products on Amazon.Experience managing multiple Amazon brands.Experience with Amazon Brand Registry, Brand Stores, A+ Content, Vine, coupons, and promotions.Experience with Amazon Marketing Cloud, Amazon DSP, or Amazon Attribution is a plus.Experience using Amazon advertising software such as Helium 10, Jungle Scout, Pacvue, Perpetua, SellerApp, Quartile, or similar platforms.Experience launching new products and improving organic keyword rankings.Familiarity with FBA, FBM, inventory planning, Buy Box performance, and product-level profitability.Google Ads, Walmart Connect, Instacart Ads, or other marketplace advertising experience is a plus.Performance ExpectationsThe Amazon PPC & Advertising Manager will be expected to: Improve advertising efficiency and profitability.Increase qualified traffic and attributed sales.Reduce wasted advertising spend.Maintain organized and scalable campaign structures.Identify opportunities to grow high-performing products.Develop corrective strategies for products with weak ROAS or high ACOS.Provide accurate and understandable performance reporting.Make recommendations based on data rather than assumptions.What We OfferCompetitive salary based on experience.Full-time, stable, in-house position.Opportunity to manage and grow multiple established brands.Direct access to management and faster implementation of advertising strategies.Collaborative environment with e-commerce, content, logistics, and inventory teams.Opportunity for professional growth as our Amazon business expands.How to ApplyPlease submit your résumé along with a brief explanation of your Amazon advertising experience.
