Performs cleaning, sanitization, and preparation of caging and accessories by processing dirty and cleaning cages and equipment for a variety of laboratory animal species in a timely manner. Sanitize all areas of facility per department SOP's. Performs, as directed, safety compliance and uses Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), as needed. The ability to be flexible and adjust to changing conditions/requirements is essential. Regularly required to move about the animal lab facility; frequently lifts up to 50 pounds; pushes/pulls/and/or moves up to 500 pounds with assistance of a cart; occasionally required to climb or stoop.
