Job SummaryThis position develops and implements social media strategies to raise public awareness, understanding, and appreciation for Ole Miss Volleyball, Softball, and Spirit Programs with critical target audiences.Job Description Day‑to‑day management and execution of Ole Miss Volleyball and Softball Social Media properties and other digital verticals.Oversees distribution of content for official athletics social media accounts and other digital platforms.Assistance in Main Athletics social media properties.Conducts research on social media trends and audience preferences.Game day coverage for Ole Miss Football on social media channels and Ole Miss digital verticals.Creates, designs, and produces specialized content for social media platforms.Oversight and thought leadership for the Ole Miss Spirit Squad social media platforms.Maintains editorial calendar for social media platforms.Develop presentations for the University community on social media use.Provides guidance, training, and supervision to subordinate staff.In‑Season travel when sport assignment can accommodate, post‑season travel required.Performs similar or related duties as assigned or required.Education QualificationsBachelor's (Required)ExperienceNo experience required.Compensation$38,771.20 – $58,156.80Interview RequirementsAny candidate who is called for an interview must notify the Department of Equal Opportunity/Regulatory Compliance in writing of any reasonable accommodation needed prior to the date of the interview.EEO StatementThe University of Mississippi provides equal opportunity in any employment practice, education program, or education activity to all qualified persons.
