Job DescriptionMajor Areas of ResponsibilityDevelop & implement comprehensive marketing & promotional campaigns for assigned sports designed to maximize attendance and revenueManage all in-game promotional activities for assigned sports including scripting, music, in-game entertainment, scheduling PA announcers and more.Work directly with assigned sports and media relations contacts to consistently enhance the programs digital presence and media involvementConsistently work to create memorable fan experiences for patrons of Holy Cross Athletics eventsAssist the Director of Athletics Marketing in the creation and management revenue streamsManagement of the Crusaders' Kids ClubWork closely with Crusader Sports Properties to ensure fulfillment of all sponsorship contractsOversee community engagement initiatives aimed at growing the Holy Cross brand in the Worcester communitySchedule and staff marketing interns both in office and for eventsWork in conjunction with media relations department to maximize social media engagementAssist department graphic designer with graphics for both print & digital useAssist video department with production of relevant contentWork collaboratively with key college partnersOther duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in marketing, communications, sport management or other related fieldsMinimum of 2 years' experience working in collegiate or professional sports marketing, experience can include internships and graduate assistantshipsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite requiredAdobe Photoshop experience requiredExcellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, including both verbal and writtenAbility to work nights, weekends and holidaysKnowledge of NCAA rules and regulationsEducation and ExperienceThorough knowledge of a relevant specialized or technical field equivalent to 2 years of college or specialized training programs.
