We offer great store hours and our Managers typically work 40 hours per week, which includes weekends. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Achieve sales and financial objectives for RWSS Accountable for profit and loss at the store level Build and promote operational effectiveness in store and with associates by utilizing the 4 wall ownership principals including building revenue growth, margin improvement, profit growth and expense control Participate in annual budget process Analyze performance variances to maximize business efficiencies Ensure policies, practices and standards (compliance) are consistently executed including Red Wing Experience, Retail Selling Process, Fitting Stool Leads, sales promotions and advertising Control loss of retail items through loss prevention strategies Ensure superior customer service standards are met Develop, maintain and grow industrial sales within market area by selling the value of employer-sponsored safety shoe programs to key industrial contacts, applying our best in-class solutions to meet their safety program needs and goals, resulting in measurable growth in footwear revenue, improved profitability and increased customer loyalty Monitor, evaluate and report on activities and products of the competition as well as changes in the marketplace and recommend course of action to Store Manager Inventory management to maximize profitability of store thus creating a high turnover ratio Additional Duties and Responsibilities: Measure and fit every customer properly Explain product features and benefits, as well as technical specifications Suggest appropriate accessories with every footwear purchase Maintain the integrity of the sales floor presentation, signing, and housekeeping standards Collaborate with associates to develop leads Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and legal regulations Enthusiasm to provide the highest level of customer service Uphold core values Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, classes or programs Qualifications: High School Education and 2+ years retail management experience including budget and sales goals management Enjoy meeting, serving and interacting with customers Dependability and flexibility with scheduled work shifts Understanding of “retail” hours which include, day, evening and weekend hours Strong computer experience with Excel, Word, and Outlook Hands-on knowledge of principles and methods for demonstrating, promoting and selling products.
