Assistant Property Manager

Requires working with sister sites for additional coverage when necessary • Oversee and coach staff in always providing excellent customer service • Regularly inspect community for areas of opportunity, including risk management, window violations, and maintenance as needed • Assist with managing vendors to ensure quality service is received • Assist with completion of work orders in Yardi when needed • Respond to tenant requests/ issues in a timely and professional manner • Complete leasing and administrative paperwork • Review Leasing Agents’ paperwork for accuracy and timely completion • Make pricing recommendations to management to achieve highest level of occupancy and maximum income generation • Manage aged delinquencies for property and complete collection efforts with detailed notes in Yardi • Ensure vacant units are made-ready in a timely manner and up to Trinity standards • Assist with lease terminations and pre-move-out inspections • Review marketing/advertising sources for accuracy and success rate • Contribute to the cleanliness of shared employee spaces, like restroom and break room • Other duties and assignments as requested by management Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • YARDI software experience preferred • PayScan experience preferred • Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel experience • CCRM experience helpful • Competence to assess priorities, give attention to detail, multi-task and meet deadlines • Understanding and ability to follow safety procedures • Remain professional in all communications • Keep detailed records and ability to complete reports • Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 25 lbs • Ability to sit, walk or stand for extended periods of time Minimum Qualifications • High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience • 3+ years in residential or leasing management • Knowledge of San Francisco rent laws • Ability to problem solve, communicate professionally, and keen attention to detail • Strong computer skills • Ability to respond to after-hours emergencies when necessary The above statements describe the essential functions and qualifications needed for this position and has been prepared by Trinity to use in planning, staffing, budgeting and/or evaluation of employees.
