Associate Brand Manager

Confidential New Haven, Connecticut

This is an immediate need for a Associate Brand Manager who is a detail oriented and innovative product and consumer marketer that will help oversee the global product development and marketing for the Star Wars Fan brand. In this critical role as the Associate Brand Manager, you will partner with cross-functional teams on all phases of product development. As such, the successful candidate will need to be proactive, high-energy, collaborative, and responsive. Role and Responsibilities: • Assist in delivering go-to market product strategy • Partner with cross-functional teams to execute key brand initiatives, including finding innovative ways to grow higher margin businesses • Drive product innovations leveraging creative thinking thorugh the system to better meet and exceed consumer demands • Partner with the global supply chain to identify programs to decrease development costs and gain efficiencies where applicable • Assist in the development of primary assets for digital marketing, PR and other marketing communications, taking ownership of DAD and photo shoots • Adopt, embrace, and embody the Star Wars fan consumer mindset in all facets of strategic thinking, product development, and marketing executions • Support fan events around the world to prepare the brand statement, connect with fans, and present product reveals. • Manage licensor relationship with Lucas Film for Fan segments through system submissions Skills and Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising or similar field • 1 - 2 years experience in consumer goods as a marketing professional • Strong attention to detail and passion for the Star Wars brand and its fans • Proven track record as a marketing professional
