Position Title: Associate Copywriter Reports to: Creative Director CJRW is looking for a creative and versatile Associate Copywriter who can craft compelling messages across traditional and digital platforms. Whether it’s a print ad, a radio script, or a snappy Instagram caption, the ideal candidate can deliver clear, engaging copy that resonates with target audiences and elevates client brands. Responsibilities: • Write creative copy for a range of media, including print ads, brochures, radio scripts, publications, social media and brand campaigns • Develop engaging organic social media copy tailored to platform strategy, client voice, and audience demographics • Collaborate with social media strategists, social media artists, and the broader creative team to concept and execute cohesive campaigns • Create copy for paid social media and search campaigns and ensure alignment with overall campaign messaging and client objectives • Assist with writing and editing for email marketing, press materials, and internal communications when needed • Adapt messaging across formats and platforms while maintaining consistency in brand voice and tone • Understand and follow AP (Associated Press) style and best practices for grammar, usage, and clarity • Participate in internal brainstorms and pitch original ideas to contribute to campaign development • Provide general proofreading and content editing support to ensure quality and accuracy • Stay current on trends in advertising and social media copywriting
