Associate Creative Director

Trickey Jennus is a growing advertising agency in Tampa with a hybrid remote/office work structure, looking for an experienced Associate Creative Director to join our dynamic team.

The Associate Creative Director will lead multi-channel creative campaigns for a growing portfolio of clients. The Associate Creative Director will partner with the Chief Creative Officer to set visual direction, mentor our team of designers, manage all copywriters and creative vendors, and ensure all work meets strategic and brand objectives. This is a hands-on leadership role — you will direct and create.

Key Responsibilities

Lead creative development for integrated campaigns (i.e. digital, print, video, social, paid media, etc.).
Manage and mentor in-house designers and art directors, as well as all creative vendors including copywriters, photographers, videographers, etc.
Collaborate with strategy, account, media teams and traffic to translate business goals into compelling creative concepts.
Present creative work to clients and internal stakeholders; and support strategic and aesthetic decisions based on best practices.
Oversee brand consistency across all touchpoints and ensure adherence to brand guidelines.
Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and quality control for multiple concurrent projects.
Stay current with design trends, technology, and industry best practices; introduce innovation to the team.
Partner with account managers on all production jobs (i.e. photo production, audio/video, printing, etc.) from planning through final delivery.
Contribute to new business pitches and proposal development.

Required Qualifications

8+ years of experience in creative direction, art direction, or senior design roles (agency or in-house).
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Advertising, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking, visual excellence, and multi-channel campaign leadership.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, etc.); familiarity with Figma, Canva, motion/video tools preferred.
Experience managing and developing creative talent; proven ability to give constructive feedback and foster collaboration.
Excellent presentation and communication skills — able to articulate creative rationale to clients and non-creative stakeholders.
Deep understanding of brand strategy, audience segmentation, and marketing objectives.
Experience in non-profit, healthcare and B2B marketing sectors, a plus.

Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
