Bar Manager

Jp's Family Restaurant in Castro Valley, is looking for one bar manager to join our team. They need certain skills and experience, which include: Management: 2 years (Required) Restaurant/bar: 5 years (Required) Available to work: Tuesday -Sunday (Required) Weekend and Holliday's (Required) Salary $47,000 - $67,000 Plus tip (based on experience) Job Description: · Manage all daily operations · Ensure all employees are fulfilling their job responsibilities · Bartend/Serve Provide excellent customer service by taking food and drink orders, preparing them efficiently, and building a rapport with clientele · Enforce service standards and house policies and ensure all quality and service standards are met. · Ensure bars are profitable by analyzing liquor costs versus sales · Work with liquor vendors to develop new productions or promotions for the bar/restaurant · Set and maintain standards for safe food handling, cleanliness and safety · Place orders with suppliers. · Create and implement marketing and advertising strategies for the bar/restaurant · Reprimand and possibly terminate employees when necessary. Friendly personality and ability to create rapport with customers and employees · Extensive knowledge of liquor, bartending and service protocols
