Bilingual Field Marketing Representative

The Bilingual Field Marketing Representative with The Restaurant Store is responsible for communicating the advantages of shopping with TRS in a clean and concise manner across the greater Reading, PA market. Responsibilities • Travel to and call on businesses in the local Reading areas to increase sales with existing customers and develop new relationships with prospective customers • Occasional travel to other PA markets • Develop and maintain knowledge of products offered in-store and the gross profit associated with private label products • Communicate with Sales team to ensure follow-through on leads generated Field Marketing team • Communicate pertinent information to TRS Marketing and Sales Departments through established reporting methods • Plan, organize, and execute specific sales and marketing programs under the direction of the Field Marketing Manager • Research and communicate competitor information to sales and inventory teams within the local branch by providing relevant competitor invoices and identify current vendors of prospective customers • Ability to navigate TRS.com quickly and effectively to assist customers with establishing online accounts and quick pick lists • Ability to use Office 365 and iOS programs • Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing. • Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs. Experience • Must possess reliable transportation and maintain a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain technical and complex concepts in a simple and concise way to ensure ease of understanding • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Ability to quickly adapt as business needs change; ability to address difficult situations with diplomacy and emotional intelligence • Service leadership approach with a demonstrated desire to exceed expectations • High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience • English and Spanish speaking skills
