Job Overview
Full‑time entry‑level position in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to install and maintain billboards for Lamar Advertising. Responsibilities include installing advertisements, maintaining structures, and performing construction tasks on billboard sites. The role is primarily solo but requires effective self‑management of schedule and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Remove, hang, and install flexes and vinyls on billboards.
Build and install extensions, cut brush/weeds, conduct storm damage repairs, and perform minor electrical repairs.
Use power and manual tools while following safety regulations.
Attend safety meetings and maintain operational vehicles, tools, and equipment.
Document installations with photos and written logs.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license.
OSHA 10‑hour Construction certification (required).
Ability to work alone and manage a schedule.
Willingness to work at heights up to 100 feet (preferred up to 200).
Strong communication skills, fluency in English.
Basic computer skills, including Internet navigation and Microsoft Word & Excel.
Understanding of electrical, fabrication, and construction techniques.
Ability to climb and work safely at heights, use construction equipment.
Skill in reading technical documents such as blueprints, diagrams, and construction plans.
Mathematical aptitude for construction tasks.
Capacity to prioritize work effectively.
Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and construction safety regulations (preferred).
Optional: CDL or non‑CDL license, prior experience with billboard installation or construction.
