Bookkeeper/Executive Assistant for Digital Marketing Agency

Confidential Seattle-Tacoma, Washington

We're a digital marketing agency that's looking for a Bookkeeper & Executive Assistant. The position is "based in Seattle" in that you do have to be a resident of the state, and it would certainly be beneficial if you were local to the area for occasional in-person meetings, however the vast majority of the role will be "remote" i.e. work-from-home. What we're looking for: -Strong organizational skills -Strong aptitude for numbers and the crunching thereof -Knowledge of basic bookkeeping like reconciliation, accounts payable & receivable, payroll -Willingness to learn new things -Ability to problem solve (90% of which is "you can google") -Experience using QuickBooks online is a PLUS -Experience using Excel/Google Sheets is a MUST In this role you'll be: -Balancing books -Monthly reconciliation of statements -Creating, sending, following up with invoices -Cross referencing non-invoiced payments with external reporting platforms -Performing executive assistant tasks -- essentially adding a layer of organization in a lot of ways: scheduling meetings, calendaring, booking travel, monthly reporting, managing relationships with vendors... this role is likely to develop further as we haven't had it previous You'll also get opportunities to learn and do new things (no prior experience needed here, but you can take on tasks that you find interesting and we'll provide all the training you need): -Digital advertising & media buying -Website design, maintenance, construction -Social media management -Email marketing -Content production & editing -Search engine optimization (SEO) -Graphic design for advertisements Adequate education in bookkeeping in lieu of experience is acceptable; everything else we will provide training!
