The primary duty of the Brand Ambassador (BA) is to work with the client to execute scheduled program activities at local and regional event promotions (street teams, retail locations, fairs, trade shows, grand openings, sporting venues, etc.). The position also requires the BA to regularly attend program trainings to keep up to date on current and relevant promotions and information related to their position. All Brand Ambassadors must meet the following requirements • Have reliable transportation • Wear required uniform • Attend all mandatory Brand Ambassador trainings • Be able to work in atmospheres that may be indoors or outdoors • Be able to deal with large crowds of people and a variety of situations Essential Competencies, Duties and Responsibilities • Represent GMR Marketing their client in a professional manner at all times • Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with team mates, GMR and the client staff as well as promotion staff and patrons • Maintains a positive and motivated attitude in all situations • Is open to feedback, guidance and direction as it pertains to job performance and personal growth • Presents a clean and professional appearance at all times • Is punctual and effectively manages his or her time • Approaches and engages potential customers in a professional and friendly manor and uses effective communication to inform and educate them about product information • Follow proper procedure for handing out gift/incentive items • Captures the potential customer s attention and is engaging in all aspects of customer communication • Know and communicate product and promotional messages • Maintains consistent, clear and accurate records of promotion activity for including performing recaps and processing of paperwork • Set up and take down program materials as required • Monitors assigned inventory to guarantee necessary returns and reconciliations • Ability to adapt or evolve with changing or shifting priorities while still meeting or exceeding expected goals
