Job Title: Local Brand Ambassador & Content Creator (Short-Term Project)

Location: Austin, TX (Field-Based / East Village)

Killer Burger is bringing the "Burgers Your Momma Warned You About" to Austin. We’re talking bold, indulgent, award-winning burgers. As we launch our new East Village location, we’re looking for someone on the ground to help us show up... loud.

We’re hiring a short-term, field-based Brand Ambassador to act as our boots on the ground and support our grassroots marketing efforts.

The Opportunity

Timeline: July

Commitment: ~20 hours total

Location: Field-based around the East Village neighborhood + On-site at the restaurant.

The Upside: Potential opportunity for this to extend into an ongoing freelance content creation role after the launch.

This is perfect for an Austin-based Marketing/Communications student or an emerging creator who wants real, hands-on brand experience—not just a "shadowing" gig.

What You’ll Do (The Hustle) This is not a desk job. You will be in it.

Hit the Streets: Execute our grassroots playbook by dropping off hype materials, menus, and free burger cards to local apartment complexes, offices, and businesses in the North East Austin area.

Build the Buzz: Be the face of the brand in the neighborhood. You'll be talking to locals, leasing managers, and business owners to get them hyped to come in.

Capture the Energy: Shoot raw, high-energy, behind-the-scenes video footage of our opening week and street marketing for our National Social Team to turn into TikToks and Reels.

What We’re Looking For

Fearless: You are outgoing and aren't afraid to walk into a leasing office or local business to start a conversation.

Self-Directed: You are highly organized and can execute a neighborhood drop-list without being micromanaged.

Mobile: Must have reliable transportation to bounce around the neighborhood.

Attitude: Positive, hustle-first, and ready to learn.

Bonus Points if you: Have a passion for social media, know how to shoot great iPhone video, and want to learn the ropes of restaurant marketing and content creation!
