Position Overview
The In-Store Marketing Representative is responsible for creating positive customer experiences and generating qualified leads while representing the company inside high-traffic home improvement retail locations. This role focuses on engaging homeowners through face-to-face conversations, answering questions, and educating customers about home improvement solutions in a professional, approachable way.
This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy interacting with the public, take pride in representing a trusted brand, and prefer an active, people-focused role rather than working behind a desk. Essential Job Functions:
• Represent the company professionally inside partner retail locations and designated in-store marketing areas
• Engage homeowners in friendly, informative conversations while creating a positive first impression
• Educate customers on products and services while clearly communicating the company’s value and expertise
• Generate interest and collect accurate customer information to schedule appointments or enter homeowners into promotions
• Work effectively with minimal supervision while keeping leadership informed of daily performance and challenges
• Support additional marketing activities as needed, including follow-up calls to prospective leads.
Position Qualifications:
• Willingness to work weekends and peak retail hours
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Strong communication skills with the ability to naturally start and guide conversations
• Professional, dependable, and customer-focused demeanor
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a larger team
• Comfortable standing and engaging with customers for extended periods
• Self-motivated with a genuine interest in educating homeowners
• Ability to follow proven systems and processes to generate high-quality leads
