The Company: An early stage, funded by the partners, property technology startup founded by two MBA candidates at Columbia Business School (one first- year and one second- year) focused on removing the traditional frictions associated with residential subleasing via an iOS platform mobile application targeted at students and young professionals. Job Objective: To create and implement a brand image and marketing plan to introduce the product to the marketplace and to scale up. The business will require a multi- channeled approach to market the product; the internship represents the opportunity to have a significant impact on the creative direction and growth strategy of the business. Specific Responsibilities: ● Assist in developing an analytics-based marketing strategy to introduce the product ● Create a brand tone via, including but not limited to: writing copy for both advertising, the app, social media and the website ● Manage all social media ● Raise awareness about the product through public relations tactics including engaging with press ● Help spearhead customer discovery strategy ● Create a set of consumer profiles and use cases, and a plan to reach each one to get them using the app. ● Assist in collecting feedback and implementing any changes to the user experience on the app.
